No waste toothpaste

Have you ever thought that you can clean your teeth with soda? If you say this to me couple months ago, I would say that you are crazy and soda can't clean your teeth properly IT'S JUST SODA! But guess what? Nowadays, I use soda to clean everything from (sorry for my french) toilet to teeth.

I invented my own receipt of zero waste toothpaste (I'm a genius, I know) and here it is:

You will need:

1/2 cup soda
1/2 cup coconut powder
2-3 drops of lemon oil
3 drops of tea tree oil
2 drops of eucalyptus oil (optional)
P.S. Be careful if you add eucalyptus oil, it has a very specific taste, not everyone likes.
1 jar
1 spoon
1 pot

Pour water into the pot and bring it to boil. While water is heating, mix coconut oil
Meanwhile, mix 1/2 cup of soda with 1/2 cup of coconut oil and put it to water-bath, "cook" it until coconut oil is melted about 2 minutes.
Let it cool down a little bit.
As soon as the mixture of soda and coconut oil is cold, you can start adding oils. Just drop oil of the top, take a spoon with the top part and "break" it to powder (I used a Chinese stick my ex-roommate left).
And here you are, with a cool and taste tooth powder!

Zero waste cleaning agent

Citrus Vinegar all-purpose cleaner is an easy and no waste agent. It smells lovely, by the way ;)
Another amazing fact is that it doesn't involve any chemicals and it's a perfect way to use citrus peels instead of throwing them directly to trash/compost.       Also, this cleaner is perfect for cleaning mirrors, mopping floors and for a counter top! Gorgeous, right? Thank you, Pinterest! ;)

YOU WILL NEED:
Citrus peels
White vinegar
Glass jar

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut peels and place them in the jar.
Cover them with a vinegar.
Leave for 2 weeks.

After 2 weeks remove peels.

Dilute vinegar with water 1:1.
Place it in a spray bottle and use it :)

For more powerful "cocktail" add soda.

Zero waste grocery in Prague

Zero waste in Prague is a little bit hard as most products are packed in plastic (even fruits and veggies).  But I found one place called Pražská tržnice (Prague market) there you can find fruits, veggies, milk, eggs, fish and many other products for good prices.

Anyway, sellers in Prague, are absolutely in love with plastic bags and they always want to pack your stuff in them, so it will be nice to bring "equipment" with you. Equipment for zero waste shopping is:

This cool guys are the best sellers here ;)
I'm totally in love with Prague market!

As i said, on Prague Market you can buy cheese and meet too! But fish sellers were off today, that's why I don't have photos of their stuff 😅

Have a nice shopping, guys ;)
